We are having a 2-hour walk in the Croatan Forest and a social event to celebrate the 45th Anniversary of the Mountains-to-Sea Trail.

Walk will be along Forest Service Road 154 and Patsy Pond in Carteret County on level and sandy roads, closed to motor vehicle traffic. After the walk, we will have a cookout at the NC Coastal Federation Office (NCCF).

Meet at the NCCF office at 3609 NC 24 (Ocean) in Newport at 9:00.

Wear comfortable, sturdy shoes (there may be a couple of muddy spots) and appropriate clothing and bring water, walking sticks, snacks, sunscreen and insect repellent and personal items.
