We are working with the Eno River Association to do a trash removal workday on Saturday March 21^st, 9AM-2PM. This will be a special workday on a difficult to access section of the river. The signup for this event, and more information is at:

This will be to remove a large amount of trash from the flooding last July on City of Durham floodplain property. One interesting feature you will want to look for out there is the “Old Eno River”. Back in the 1940’s the Eno was “straightened” and moved into its current channel.

For these workdays you will want to wear boots or solid shoes and dress accordingly for the weather, and bring water, work gloves.

Tools will be provided.

Thank you all for your great work on the trail.
