The good looking guy in the yellow hat, Friends of the Mountains-to-Sea Trail board member Jerry Barker, who pitched the idea to Friends’ Executive Director Kate Dixon three years ago. Jerry persisted with the idea of boots being on the entire trail over one 24-hour period and last year his vision began to take shape.
