In Segment 10, a section of trail near Possum Track Rd. (EB Miles 70.4-71.3; WB Miles 9.5-10.4) will be closed sometime during the week of May 11, 2026, for timber harvesting. During the closure, use the following detour:

Eastbound Directions

0.0      At Mile 70.4, turn right onto the fireline, heading south toward Possum Track Rd.

0.2      At T-intersection, turn left on Possum Track Rd.

0.5      Continue over bridge crossing lake to rejoin the guide route at Mile 71.3.

Westbound Directions

0.0      At Mile 9.5, instead of going right on the trail into the woods, continue straight on Possum Track Rd.

0.4      Just past the sharp left-hand turn in the road, turn right onto a wide fireline. Note: There is a fireline that reaches the road at the beginning of this curve; do not take that one. The correct fireline is in the straightaway beyond the curve, just before a new driveway for 15436 Possum Track Rd.

0.5      Where the fireline turns sharply left, continue onto the trail and turn left to rejoin the guide route at Mile 10.4.
