DESCRIPTION:Sunday\, October 15th\, 10-1 pm \nNOTE: Date Change due to probable bad weather on Saturday. Join the Friends of the Mountains to Sea and Rip Stop by the Roll for litter pickup along the trail\, trailheads\, and shoreline in segment 10 at Falls Lake.  \nSignup on the Friends of the Mountains-to-Sea Trail MeetUp Group \nWe will meet at the Hickory Hill Boat ramp on Redwood Rd. Please park towards the top of the parking area – https://maps.app.goo.gl/iHGy96d1AdjdMpQT8  \nAfter a brief overview of the cleanup tasks and some watershed education\, we will split up into teams and make our way to the (very close) trailheads to pick up trash.  \nFor your safety\, please wear long pants and long sleeves\, sturdy shoes\, bug spray\, and sunscreen. Please bring plenty of water!  \nNo pets allowed.

Returning Zone Captains\, Jennifer Browndorf & Iwona Birk\, are FMST trail maintenance volunteers assigned to trailheads along the MST and have identified litter hot spots along the parking areas/trailheads. Come enjoy some sun and our beautiful Falls Lake while cleaning up; It’s highly encouraged to hit the MST after the event!
