Hillsborough’s Cates Creek Bridge Replacement

Hillsborough’s Cates Creek Bridge Replacement

December 7, 2018 – December 8, 2018 all-day
Bill Boyarsky

Hillsborough’s Cates Creek Bridge was damaged by Tropical Storm Florence. We will be working two days to replace it. On Friday, we will dig and pour footings and on Saturday, we will build the 24 foot bridge. Neighbors in the Forest Ridge community have set up a GoFundMe page and have raised the entire amount needed to purchase the materials for this project and some of them will be working alongside FMST volunteers to complete this project.

Wear clothes appropriate for the weather and solid shoes/boots. Bring lunch, snacks, water and work gloves. We will provide tools.

RSVP to Bill.Boyarsky@gmail.com by December 4 if you can help so we can order the appropriate number of breakfast biscuits.
