The Greensboro and E Guilford’s next workday is on Sept 16.

We will be doing trail maintenance / improvements on our MST trail sections. We will begin work on replacing two of the boardwalks on the Laurel Bluff Trail. The work we do will depend to some extent on the number of volunteers planning to participate on the workday.

As is usually the case the weather condition leading up to and expected on the workday may impact what task we work on.

Please let me know if you plan to attend by Tuesday 9/12/2023.  I use the information to plan the workday and plan for biscuits.

Meet time: 8:30 a.m.    End time: Trail work expected to finish by mid-afternoon, but you can leave as you wish

Meet Location:  Meet at parking area behind the Chick-fil-A on Pisgah Church Rd, Greensboro

Health and Safety: Bring: water, work gloves, appropriate clothes, work shoes, snack and/or lunch. Also bring insect repellent or wear protection clothing. If you are new to trail work, there will be an experienced volunteer to work with you.

Tools: We have tools; but if you have a favorite tool for maintaining the trail bring it. If there is a need for specific tools I will email those volunteers coming a couple of days before the workday.

Weather: In the event that the workday is canceled due to bad weather, an E-mail will be sent out the day before the workday by 8:00 p.m. to those who responded as planning to participate.
