Eno River Section Trail Workday

Time to start up trail work on the Eno River section of the Mountains-to-Sea Trail.
Our first workday is scheduled for Saturday January 14th, 9AM – 3PM meeting between 4710 and 4712 Buttonbush Drive in Durham.
We will be repairing this section of the trail and removing invasive privet. This is part of the recently rebuilt trail after the sewer line work. Parts of the trail are now overgrown with invasive privet. This plant overgrows the trail and chokes out native plants. Removing the privet will help keep the trail clear and allow the regrowth of native plants. The trail repair involves building up the lowest part of the trail.
Bring water, lunch, work gloves, insect repellant, sunscreen, and wear appropriate boots and clothes. Tools will be provided.
